Ice Flower

It's the apocalypse, I'm submitting again after four months!! *__* what is going on here, right? Well I'm almost done school for the summer, so naturally I have more time and inspiration on my hands \o/ I dusted off my tablet and came up with this after 5 hours between yesterday and today~

I was originally inspired by this colour palette and a phrase which ~Healingwind gave me for inspiration a couple months back ("a girl living on a cloud"). It was supposed to be a fairly speedy painting of a girl with her head in the clouds, literally and figuratively, in a style similar to this.

But after my dad looked at it and told me it was more reminiscent of ice, I decided to go in that direction I looked up "ice flowers" and found these beautiful photos which inspired her hairpiece and brooch! I also used this stock in the back.
